Description

Our A1011 hot rolled pickled and oiled (P&O) steel gusset plates are fabricated in-house using our precision lasers to ensure consistency and accuracy and are available in a variety of thicknesses and sizes. Characterized by a smooth, blue-grey finish, these gussets have undergone a “pickling” process, meaning the plates have been dipped into acid to remove the mill scale from its surface. Once the pickling process is complete, a light rust preventative is applied to slow down the corrosion of the material, making it paint or powder coat ready. A1011 is considered a commercial quality alloy material; common applications include structural joint support.
